Terry Harper - Goodman and Sons Durene, size 50. LOA from The Spirit of the Game.

Game Wear:       

Jean Potvin or Barry Long - Goodman's Rawlings Durene knit, size 48. The washing instructions tag in the hem is a Rawlings washing instructions tag and these were last seen in jerseys in 72-73 and early 73-74. The Block cut shoulders also helps date this to circa 71-72, 72-73. I first saw this jersey in at the National in 2000 and it had a wrong Sargent name sewn on the back, since then it has been removed by a collector. The fight strap is high on the back between the numbers which also helps date it. LOA from the Spirit of the Game.

Sykes bounces up and down from the minors and logs in only 7 regular season games in 82-83, he is listed as #14 but so are 5 other guys listed as #14, some databases are known to list players with wrong numbers, I think this is the case here.

Steve Shutt  - CCM Ultrafil knit, size 50 . LOA from the Spirit of the Game.  Born on date in collar reads 84 07. This was Steve's last year in the NHL.

Jay Wells - CCM Ultrafil knit, size 52. One of the more sought after 1980's jerseys and a Jay Wells to boot. Fantastic 20th anniversary patch. Adidas emblem sewn into back hem. Jay racked up over 2300+ PM's in his NHL career. Addendum - This jersey originally comes from the 1984-85 season and was recycled into the 86-87 season. The Addidas tag and CCM tag help date this jersey originally to 84-85. This jersey was originally purchased from Milt Byron of Byron's Hockeyland who originally got this set from the Kings. This jersey has been owned by only one collector since the original purchase from Milt. I have spoke to Milt about this jersey and we are both in agreement that since Wells was a fighter he needed extra jerseys hence they pulled one from an older set for the 86-87. The patch shows curving, puckering and fraying which leads us both to believe it was worn also in the 86-87 season.

The jersey features a patch for the 2002 All-Star Game, held in LA, and an "AM" patch to honor Ace Bailey and Mark Bavis, two Kings' scouts killed in the 9/11 attacks.

Luc Robitaille - CCM Air knit, size 56 . LOA from MeiGray and the Spirit of the Game.  This jersey was worn in two games celebrating the NHL's vintage program, on 12-2-04 vs. St. Louis 4-1 loss.  Then again on 12-16-04 at Los Angeles vs. Edmonton in a 4-2 win. Luc logs in over 29 minutes of ice time in this jersey.
